On March 8, 2023, an update was released on Lineage 2 Essence servers in Korea. As a result of this update, the adena drop rate has changed in various locations. Some zones have become more profitable for farming, while others have become less so.

User FallenFromMoon published the following information about the changes:

Each location was farmed for about 10 minutes. In the highest-level locations, such as the GC Lower Level, several mobs were killed. During the tests, the character died 5 times.

Rewards in the following hunting zones have been increased:

• Hot Springs: 1351-1495 -> about 1411-1530. Bold: 1552-1717 -> about 1628-1775
• 5 types of Memory zones: 2697-2990 -> about 3012-3281.
• High-level Rakshasa camp zone: the location has been balanced in recent months, so the numbers are currently around 2149-2291
• Giant’s Cave (Entrance) – 1423-1572, 2419-2673 -> about 1581-1742, about 2698-2955
• Giant’s Cave (Middle, Humanoids) – 2125-2351 -> about 2176-2388
• Giant’s Cave (Lower, Humanoids) – 2124-2346 -> about 2584-2686
• Orc Camp (Outside): could not be determined due to a pigvar
• Gordos Canyon (Entrance): 1648-1825 -> about 1904-2050.
• Bold: 2156-2388 -> about 2520-2665
• High-level Lizard Valley zone: 934-1032 -> about 1408-1548.
• Bold: 1167-1290 -> about 1761-1925

Rewards in the following hunting zones have been decreased:

• Primeval Island (Low-level zone): 521-576
• Tower of Kruma 2nd floor: 915-1488 -> ~753-1133
• Tower of Kruma 3rd floor: 840-1027 -> ~519-602
