Star Wars: The Old Republic Launches PvP Season 2 Next Week

After a successful first PvP season, which followed a major overhaul of the competitive landscape, Star Wars: The Old Republic is gearing up for the launch of Season 2 on March 28th.

The second season, named Piercing the Veil, brings a few changes to the table. BioWare has announced alterations to the way attacker and defender medals are distributed, aiming to motivate players to actively pursue objectives. These changes will first be introduced on the Alderaan map, with more to follow in the future.

Engaging in weekly challenges allows players to acquire new cosmetic sets and housing decorations.

This season’s theme also promises to be exciting: “Hidden forces are at work behind the scenes, manipulating the competition to serve as a recruiting platform for a shadowy organization of assassins. Are the participants battling for honor and rewards, or are they fighting for their very survival?”
